Jasper

I'm glad we brought Jasper back using that new technique…mostly. He doesn’t fetch his ball quite as quickly as before, but that frenetic speed is what got him run over in the first place. He stinks of old leaves now, but didn't he always smell? Last night I woke up to him standing at the foot of my bed, just staring silently. Come to think of it, he hadn't barked once since the procedure. Also, my stepson won't play with him anymore, completely defeating the purpose of paying that special vet. Is it too late to undo what I’ve done?
