She was surprised when Jason responded to her text, given that he'd died six weeks ago. At first she thought it was an impersonator bot, scammer, or hacker, but based on the intimate details she quizzed him on, no way. In some aspects, Ghost-Jason was superior to the previous one: He responded quickly yet thoughtfully to her concerns, was less prone to mood swings, planned dates but could still be spontaneous, and overall listened better than Jason ever had. For the first time she felt truly happy in the relationship. (Ironically, he’d never believed in ghosts while he was living.)
