Oh, that’s so funny—no, in this world, whoever absorbs the most bullets into their body lives. The more you cut yourself, fall off cliffs, get hit by cars, have diabetes, develop high cholesterol levels, are diagnosed with cancer—the longer you survive. In battle, people run toward the other side, trying to get shot, shelled, or shrapnelled. BASE jumpers have a “life wish.” Those who seek a peaceful end-of-life must start eating cleanly, exercising, learning new languages, developing hobbies they enjoy, participating in healthy relationships; eventually, they must be surrounded by friends and loved ones in order to end their lives.
